Thank you for choosing FSIE (Full Stack Institute Engineering)!
FSIE, located in Brooklyn, NY, United States, provides products and services covered by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). These Terms apply to our website, apps, and other offerings ("Services"). In instances where our Services involve downloadable software, you agree that we may automatically update the software, and these Terms will extend to such updates. Please carefully read these Terms, and feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns. By clicking “I accept” or using our Services, you agree to abide by these Terms, including the referenced policies.
You may use our Services if you can enter into a binding contract with FSIE, comply with these Terms, all relevant laws, and our Policies (including the Acceptable Use Policy, Honor Code, course-specific eligibility requirements, and other applicable Policies), and if you are of the age at which you can consent to data processing under your country's laws. Different regions and Content Offerings may have additional requirements or age restrictions.
Violation of our Terms, laws, or Policies may result in the suspension, disabling, or termination of your access to all or part of the Services.
When creating and using your FSIE account, you must provide accurate and complete information, and you agree to keep it up-to-date.
Subject to these Terms and our Policies, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use our Services. This license is for personal, non-commercial use unless otherwise permitted in writing by FSIE. You agree to create, access, and use only one user account unless expressly allowed by FSIE. Ownership of, or any intellectual property rights in, our Services or accessed content are not transferred to you.
Using our Services for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited unless subject to a separate agreement with FSIE, Inc. For organizations using our Services, separate terms apply, and these Terms do not govern the relationship between your organization and FSIE.
FSIE (Full Stack Institute Engineering) provides courses and content ("Content Offerings") sourced from universities and other providers ("Content Providers"). While we strive to deliver high-quality Content Offerings from our Content Providers, unforeseen events may occur. FSIE reserves the right to cancel, interrupt, reschedule, or modify any Content Offerings, or adjust the point value or weight of any assignment, quiz, or assessment, either independently or as per Content Provider instructions. Content Offerings are subject to the Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability sections outlined below.
Completion of Content Offerings on FSIE does not result in the grant of academic credit. Unless explicitly stated by a credit-granting institution, participating in or finishing Content Offerings does not confer academic credit. Even if credit is granted by one institution, there is no assumption that other institutions will recognize that credit. Users are not to claim credit for completing a Content Offering unless they have obtained a course certificate or equivalent documentation from FSIE. FSIE, instructors, and associated Content Providers are not obligated to seek recognition of Content Offerings from any educational institution or accreditation organization.
These Terms, or any other aspect of your involvement in Content Offerings by Content Providers: (a) do not establish any relationship between you and any Content Provider; (b) do not enroll or register you in any Content Provider institution or Content Offering provided by any Content Provider institution; or (c) do not entitle you to utilize the resources of any Content Provider institution beyond participating in the Content Offering.
By providing User Content, you grant FSIE (Full Stack Institute Engineering) a worldwide, sublicensable, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, copy, distribute, modify, create derivative works, publicly perform, publicly display, and authorize Content Providers to use the User Content with their students. FSIE may remove or modify User Content for reasons including violation of terms.
Feedback: Submitting Feedback gives FSIE unrestricted rights to use it without compensation. FSIE retains the right to use similar or related Feedback obtained from other sources.
While FSIE prioritizes account security, it cannot guarantee immunity against unauthorized access. Users are urged to report any compromise promptly.
FSIE disclaims responsibility for potentially objectionable or harmful third-party content accessed through the Services. Users access such content at their own risk.
FSIE respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. The platform adheres to copyright and trademark policies in compliance with the law.
FSIE offers paid Services, with fees subject to change at its discretion. Users are responsible for timely payment and may be subject to collection mechanisms for overdue accounts.
FSIE (Full Stack Institute Engineering) offers a 30-day refund policy for eligible courses, allowing customers to request a refund within this period. The refund request must adhere to the specified guidelines. Some purchases may only qualify for credit refunds, subject to certain restrictions.
The 30-day refund policy aims to provide students with a risk-free learning experience. However, FSIE must also safeguard instructors from potential fraud and ensure a reasonable payment schedule. Refund requests received after the 30-day window will not be processed, as payments to instructors are typically sent after this period.
FSIE reserves the right to limit or deny refund requests at its discretion, especially in cases of suspected refund abuse. This includes situations where a significant portion of the course has been consumed or downloaded, multiple refund requests for the same course, or excessive refund requests from a student. Refunds are not granted for subscription services, unless required by applicable law.
In instances where a cash refund is not applicable, FSIE may issue a refund in the form of credits, provided it aligns with the 30-day refund policy. If a course purchase is only eligible for a credit refund, this information will be specified on the refund page. Refund restrictions will be enforced to the extent permitted by applicable law.
We are continually enhancing and updating our Services. We may introduce or remove features, suspend, or cease certain aspects of the Services. FSIE (Full Stack Institute Engineering) reserves the right to terminate your use of any Service at its discretion. If termination involves a paid Service, a refund may be available as per our Refund Policy. Certain regions or countries may face limitations in service delivery due to factors such as export control requirements, internet access restrictions, or commercial considerations. The FSIE Parties bear no liability for such actions. You have the freedom to discontinue using our Services at any time.
The Services and all included content are provided "as is," without any warranties, whether express or implied. The FSIE Parties explicitly disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Your access or use of the Services is at your own risk.
By using our Services, you confirm compliance with U.S. laws, ensuring that you are not in a restricted country or on any government-prohibited list. Use of circumvention services is prohibited. FSIE may suspend or terminate Services if you breach these obligations.
You agree to indemnify FSIE from claims, liabilities, expenses, and damages arising from your use of the Services in violation of these Terms, any legal violation, or User Content issues.
Governed by California law (or Netherlands law for EU, EFTA, or UK residents), these Terms establish Santa Clara County, California, or applicable EU, EFTA, or UK courts as the exclusive venue for disputes. This section does not waive any mandatory consumer protections under your country's laws.
